2024 Get Organized Month

NAPO-CT announced the January 2024 GO! Month collection will benefit the Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services, a non-profit agency whose mission is to help refugees and other displaced people establish new lives, strengthen hope, and contribute to the vitality of Connecticut’s communities.

IRIS helps newcomers on the road to self-sufficiency by providing lifesaving support during their transition to life in the United States. For our GO! Month initiative, NAPO-CT members will begin collecting new or gently used coats, towels, and baby diapers of any size. At the chapter meeting in January, members will gather everything we have collected and take our annual NAPO-CT team GO! Month photo. Business Partner, Tom Larson owner of Just Dump It has generously volunteered to bring all of our contributions to iris after our meeting!

BONUS!! We also have the opportunity to collect new or gently used hats, gloves, and mittens for the kids and teens served by The Light House. The Light House is a Manchester-based mental health agency, and Suzy Williams, its Clinical Director, will be the speaker at the January meeting.

If you have any questions about GO! Month, please reach out!
