NAPO Certification and Certificates

NAPO National offers multiple opportunities for Organizing/Productivity Professionals to continue education and increase professional development through a certification program CPO® and Specialist Certificates.

  • CPO’s earn certification through the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers® (BCPO®) examination.
  • Specialty programs offer organizers/productivity professional an opportunity to earn a certificate in a particular area of interest.

Other Resources

Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD) is a specialty subgroup of professional organizing. Their mission is to provide education, research and strategies to benefit people affected by chronic disorganization, and the professionals who work with them. ICD also offers webinars and has a certification track.

The Photo Managers (formerly Association of Personal Photo Organizers–APPO) was founded by Connecticut organizer, Cathi Nelson. The Photo Managers is a community of professionals who are passionate about helping their clients manage photo collections and tell their stories.

American Association of Daily Money Managers   (AADMM) focuses on your daily money matters so you can focus on life.

The National Association of Black Professionals (NABPO) provides education and support to professional organizers of all ethnic backgrounds. 

Check out your local Chamber of Commerce and other networking groups for meetings in your area as well as SCORE volunteers who help new business owners.
