We are pleased you decided to join NAPO-CT and become a Productivity and Organizing Professional. Here is information you may find helpful.
Due to the continued Covid uptick, breakthrough cases and virus variants, future NAPO-CT meetings are being considered on a month-by-month basis. Updated meeting information — in-person or on Zoom — will be sent to members and registered guests via email.
NAPO-CT holds monthly meetings the third Friday of every month. Meeting location or Zoom access link will be announced via newsletter and meeting reminders. (No meetings in December, July and August.)
Because we truly enjoy spending time with each other, we usually hold a Holiday Social in December, Summer Social in July or August, and a Summer Organizing Event where all members can participate and showcase their talents. The goal of our chapter meetings is education and networking. We have a topic for each meeting which benefits the Productivity and Organizing Professionals. There is always something to learn.

Our Business Partners attend meetings to share the benefits of their products and services. We love the collaboration they bring to benefit the members.
Please RSVP for each meeting beforehand so that we can set up the room appropriately and order coffee/tea for everyone. You can use the RSVP form on the website or log into your account and the form is already filled in for you.
The annual membership renewal is during the month of October. Dues are payable via Quickbooks invoice emailed by NAPO-CT Treasurer and must be paid before the end of the month in order to avoid a $25 reinstatement fee. Remember, National membership is a requirement to remain a chapter member. Business Partners are not required to be National members.
The annual fee for NAPO-CT membership is $100 (Due to Covid effects on many Professional Organizer’s businesses the NAPO-CT Board approved a 20% reduction in the annual fee.) Business Partner annual membership fee is now $200.
In November, NAPO-CT hosts NERCPO — Northeast Regional Conference for Productivity and Organizing Professional.
This is a full-day in-person event; although over the past two years due to Covid we held the event on zoom. We are looking forward to being in-person again for learning and networking with colleagues and vendors from around the northeast–Maine to Pennsylvania and beyond. It includes breakfast, lunch, beverages and snacks, a vendor expo, speakers, games, raffles and lot of foodies provided by vendors and sponsors.
Annual NAPO Conference
NAPO National holds an annual conference in the spring, usually in April. The location of the national conference varies from year to year across the country. NAPO National also sponsored NAPO University which offers live webinars, podcasts and on-demand courses. There is a certification process members can undergo to become a Certified Professional Organizer or work towards several specialty certificates. All information is found on NAPO.net
NAPO-CT invests in our members’ continued education by purchasing access to the conference recordings of all workshops and keynote speakers — an added membership benefit. Instructions to access the recordings is listed on the MEMBERS ONLY page. (You must log in to your account to access this page.)
