Getting Clients Unstuck Using Motivational Interviewing

Do you have clients who are ambivalent, lack confidence or are uncertain about making changes? Motivational Interviewing (MI) is the communication approach you need. In this workshop participants will be able to define MI including its spirit, principles and processes, identify stages of change, and learn change talk strategies.

Bio: Sarah Soboleski is the owner of Classically Organized, a professional organizing business, serving clients in central Connecticut.  She is both a trained Professional Organizer and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  Sarah is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and the CT Chapter of NAPO for which she served many years on the board including in the role of President.

Sarah holds various certifications through the Institute for Challenging Disorganization and is a member of The Connecticut Hoarding Working Group; a statewide task force focused on hoarding disorder.

Prior to becoming a professional organizer, Sarah worked as a social worker in a wide range of treatment settings from residential programs to managed care.  Her clinical career specializes in working with children and families on issues including depression, trauma, anxiety, and neurodiversity.
